What is a Gas Compliance Analyst?
The Gas Compliance Analyst works to improve the overall effectiveness of the company’s natural gas construction, inspection and maintenance programs.
What does a Gas Compliance Analystdo?
- Audits records associated with construction, inspection and maintenance activities of those personnel and contractors engaged in the company’s natural gas operations.
- Ensures inspection and maintenance records are recorded in an appropriate manner and confirms the quality and completeness of documentation.
- Provides analytical support to deliver performance feedback to the management team.
- Assists in identifying and recommending process improvements that foster continuous improvement in compliance, individual and area performance, and overall group performance
- Works closely with other groups, within and outside the Company, to quickly resolve emerging issues and contribute to the solution of problems.
- Oversees and coordinates the Operator Qualification (OQ) Compliance Program and assists with ensuring gas compliance across the company.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of the Company’s OQ program and pipeline safety performance with State and Federal codes.

What does it take to be a Gas Compliance Analyst?
Required:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associates in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalency degree and 5 years of related experience will be considered
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Must be able to communicate and interact effectively in a multi-functional and diverse organization.
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
- Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information

The Comptroller is responsible for analyzing and overseeing the Town of Fishkill’s accounting and budgeting functions, including a variety of routine and complex transactions, analytical, administrative, financial and technical records and to assist in preparing, reviewing and maintaining the Town’s Operating and Capital Budgets (All Funds). This position performs professional accounting and auditing services enforcing internal accounting controls and compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. The incumbent works under the administrative supervision of the Town Supervisor and reports to the Town Board.
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:
- Prepares and executes the annual Town Budget;
- Maintains records of appropriations, encumbrances, and expenditures, and prescribes approved methods of accounting for all units of local government;
- Certifies the availability of funds for all requisitions, contracts, purchase orders and other documents for which the municipality incurs financial obligations;

Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Recreation, assists in the development and implementation of a comprehensive recreation program for residents in accordance with residents needs and rules of regulatory body. Flexible hours required, including availability for weekends.
Responsibilities
• Conduct an assessment with each resident to identify residents’ needs, interests and skills for an individualized program plan.• Develop and implement services including group programs and one to one interventions for each resident of assigned unit within the context of the resident’s comprehensive assessment and care plan• Maintain documentation such as assessments, progress notes, MDS, care plans and daily charting.• Assist Director in evaluating the efficacy and effectiveness of recreational interventions in relation to resident’s needs• Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and ensure that recreation plan conforms to overall interdisciplinary Care Plan.• provide direction to the nursing staff in providing with physical, cognitive, emotional/behavioral, leisure and social interventions to residents.• Assist in development and maintenance of department quality assurance program.• Assist Director in education and direction of Recreation Leaders.• Supervise/ direct of assigned volunteers.• Maintains adequate amount of supplies and equipment.• In the absence of the Director, is responsible to the Senior Recreation Specialist for the daily operation of the department.• Participates in staff development program including attendance at mandatory education program.• Complies with guidelines of the HAZCOM program• Participates, as assigned, in Nursing Home Committees.• In the spirit of cooperation and in response to resident needs, it may be necessary to perform other related duties as requested and unrelated duties in case of emergency.Qualifications
Education Requirements
• A.A. degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field with experience in institutional or community programs.Experience Requirements
• One or more years experience working with specialized population or institutional or community programs.Experience Desired
• * Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and other Dementias preferred.License Requirements
